About
Model Philosophy is a web-log about Models and Philosophy.
While out walking one day I began to wonder if there was philosophy in the hobbies that spend so much time on? Is there something we get from doing hobbies, building models, and fighting each other on the table-top?
The more I thought about it, the more I realised that there was a niche hiding behind the scenes. And while I am not a philosophy professor, I have long held an interest in the topic, reading many books and absorbing what I can.
Why Everyone Hates Moral Philosophy Professors.
My interest in modelling is more than the build or painting, it is in the world that everything exists in. The created places that everything happens. I have spent more money on the books than the models in the early days, but as time has gone on this has changed.
The kits on my desk are varied, but they are many. There is boxes hidden away from the dust that are awaiting time to get included into the flow. But with the current challenges many are getting worked on. Combat Patrols, Kill Teams, and an Army Build for 2026.
There is a lot of content found between the lore and the stories, and much philosophy that we can find in those stories we are attached to.
